The theme of this year's Winter Renewal Retreat was Self Love. The intention for this event was to help women learn to love themselves first in advance of Valentine's Day.
We had a wonderful afternoon filled with heart-opening experiences and soulful connections.
Here's what some of our participants said about the Winter Renewal Retreat:
~ "I had no idea the energy, truth, and self awareness this day would bring. Imperfectly perfect, authentic self, shifting your mindset, self love, slowing down, remember to breathe, gratitude are just a few of the words that resonated with me, deeply. Deep gratitude for Kim Howie and Nancy Werteen for their courage and mission driven hearts."
~ "The Winter Renewal Retreat was just the anchoring, uniting, and “girl power” type of thing that I needed!"
~ "Always a time of recharging of the batteries with the wisdom coalition"
~ "Thank you Kim and Nancy for another wonderful event!"
~ "Such an amazing event with a group of wonderful ladies."
~ "Such a great event!"
The event kicked off with opening remarks from Nancy and Kim, followed by an awesome self defense demonstration with tips on self confidence led by black belt and self defense instructor Steve Mittman.
Then on to a LIVE podcast recording with audience interaction on the subject of learning to cherish our own selves with advice from our panel experts, May Ambrogi and Tina McGovern.
Followed by a Mirror Work exercise led by Kim to help cultivate more self love.
Then we moved on to a group paper flower making class led by Katie Antonson, owner of a unique paper florist called Lille Syster in Easton.
And concluded the event with a beautiful meditation to help keep us rooted in love, led by Teri Goszka, owner of LivingRoom Yoga.
Of course, there were lots of opportunities for shopping, networking and making new connections!
